Our response to Covid-19

We have considered the entire guest journey to assess how we can keep you as reassured as possible, whilst still giving you the Rosslyn House experience we are known for.

 

Please see our six-point plan below:

You can contact us on rosslynhousewhitby@icloud.com or by calling 01947604086 if you have any queries or need further reassurance that we are taking appropriate measures in response to Covid-19.

 

The following procedures are for your peace of mind prior to your stay however we will be happy to talk to you if you have any further concerns or questions.

1.    We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your stay. These include a high temperature, a new and persistent cough and loss of taste and smell.  

Arrival & check-in

 

1.    We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you do not enter the B&B. These include a high temperature, a new and persistent cough and a loss of taste and smell. We will be unable to accommodate you if you are showing symptoms.

 

 

 

Common areas

1.    We have heightened and enhanced our cleaning procedures to include extensive cleaning of shared surfaces throughout the day

 

2.    We have set up hand sanitising stations throughout the B&B for you to use and we politely ask you use these when entering the B&B, bedrooms etc.

 

Bedrooms & Bathrooms 

1.    Guests will be provided with hand sanitiser in all our bedrooms for you to use during your break with us.

2.    Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival.

3.    Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, upholstered chairs will be steam cleaned and sprayed with an approved sanitising solution, which is effective in killing Covid-19 but

Breakfast

 

1.    We have reduced our dining spaces to ensure all diners are 2 metres apart.

 

2.    We can offer flexible table configurations dependent upon your party size. We will contact you prior to your arrival to discuss these options with you and answer any questions you may have.

 

Check-out


1. A bill will be emailed prior to check out.

2.    To check out, all you need to do is leave your key in the box provided at reception and we will automatically take payment using the debit or credit card details we hold on file, should you have any queries in relation to your bill, please speak to us prior to check-out.

3.    We ask that you use the hand sanitisers before leaving the B&B.

4.    Please ensure you leave nothing behind, we are unable to return personal property and it will be bagged and disposed of.
